Maya defends her thesis.

Maya Petgrave successfully defends (July 19, 2022) her graduate thesis entitled, "Understanding the dynamics and molecular interactions of the human cannabinoid receptor 1" . Maya is the first graduate student in ArGan'sLab. She has made 3 international conference presentations and drafted 2 manuscripts that are in review. Congratulations, Maya!!!

ArGan'sLab at CCCE2022, Calgary

Dr. Ganesan and Maya will deliver oral presentations on our recent research on anti-SARS-CoV-2 main protease drug design and molecular recognition process of CB1-CRIP1a interactions in the CCCE2022 conference, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. June 13-17, 2022.

New research article in BMS Chemistry

A new research article focussed on understanding the molecular processes of ligand-induced dimerization of human PD-L1 co-authored by Dr. Ganesan is published in BMC Chemistry journal.

New Internal seed fund

ArGan'sLab and Dr. Nekkar Rao's team receives the UWaterloo-School of Pharmacy Interdisciplinary Seed Fund 2022-2023 to support their research collaboration in developing an experimentally-validated predictive tool to predict CB1 liability of molecules. Thank you UWaterloo-SoP.

Sakina at ICAP/ICAN2022

Sakina Fatima, a Master's student at ArGan'sLab, makes an oral presentation at ICAP/ICAN 2022 conference in Toronto, 28-30 June 2022. She will present her recent findings on the molecular interactions driving RNA binding to hnRNPA1 protein linked with neurodegeneration.

New resource grant

ArGan'sLab wins $36,000 worth of dedicated High performance computing time under Resource Allocation Competition from ComputeCanada. This resource will support our research projects on computational drug design and molecular biosciences. Thank You, ComputeCanada.
